BRUSHES MASTERY COURSE – Learn Jazz Brushes

The one thing I often hear from drummers, is that they lack confidence playing drum brushes.  They would just as well use brushes for fly swatters. (Incidentally, this was how brushes were originally used in the early 1900’s!) Well, I’m here to change that.

I created the Brushes Mastery Course to take you from the basics to the bandstand.  You’re going to learn Jazz Brushes and many other styles and grooves.  These include, Samba, Bossa Nova, Funk, Hip-Hop, New Orleans Second Line, Pop, Country, Bolero, Rhumba and TONS of others.  

My goal is for you to finally feel confident in using your “fly swatters” to make music.  The word “Mastery” in the course name means mastering your own unique sound. Brushes more than sticks, give you an opportunity to create your sound, like a musical finger print.

Throughout this course, you’ll “experience” drum brushes and music with interactive videos that allow you to practice with me and sharpen your new brushing skills with top guitarists, bassists and pianists.  Everything is structured based on my 30 + years as a professional drummer and brush player.

As with all of my teaching, I cut through the complexity to break things down for you in a slow, clear and concise manner.  I know we’re going to have a great time together as you master YOUR sound and gain confidence in the most captivating drumming art form, BRUSHES!
